Daily Teaching Project License

This license applies to the Daily teaching project and its course checkpoint downloads provided by Eden HQ LLC.

YOU CAN

  • Use Daily while taking the course.
  • Copy it for your own work.
  • Change it.
  • Learn from it.
  • Turn it into a substantially customized personal project.
  • Turn it into a substantially customized commercial product.
  • Sell a finished product you built from it.

YOU CAN'T

  • Sell Daily itself.
  • Share the original Daily source or checkpoint downloads.
  • Upload it as a public starter.
  • Sell or distribute a lightly changed version as a template.
  • Include Daily source files in another course.
  • Repackage the teaching project as your own educational product.

1. LICENSE GRANT

Eden HQ LLC gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, copy, and modify the Daily teaching project for your own learning and projects.

You may turn Daily into your own finished personal or commercial product.

2. WHAT YOU MAY CHANGE

You may change any part of the project for a permitted finished product, including:

  • name;
  • branding;
  • typography;
  • colors;
  • layout;
  • content;
  • features;
  • business logic;
  • data;
  • assets.

3. COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS

You may sell a finished product that you developed using Daily as a starting point.

You may distribute that finished product to an unlimited number of end users.

4. TEMPLATES AND STARTERS ARE DIFFERENT

You may not sell or distribute Daily itself as a:

  • template;
  • starter project;
  • boilerplate;
  • course download;
  • tutorial project;
  • reusable source package.

Changing only the name, colors, images, or a small number of components does not turn Daily into a separately distributable template.

5. NO SHARING OF TEACHING FILES

You may not share:

  • course checkpoint downloads;
  • original Daily source packages;
  • course-specific assets;
  • teaching notes supplied with Daily.

Another student must obtain their own authorized access.

6. CONTRACTORS

You may allow a contractor to work on your customized project under the same temporary-access rules described in the Brand Kit Standard License.

The contractor gets no independent right to reuse or distribute the original Daily teaching materials.

7. OWNERSHIP

Eden HQ LLC owns or controls the original Daily teaching project and checkpoint materials, except for separately licensed third-party materials.

You own the original work you add to your own finished project.

Your license to the original Daily materials remains subject to these terms.

8. REFUNDS

The Shared Terms below apply.

If a purchase that provided access to Daily is refunded, your license to the original Daily teaching materials ends.
